Commercial Business System Analyst

Position Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to define, implement and support the IT needs of our commercial operations organization.

This person’s primary job focus is in partnership with Customer Care, Sales and Marketing teams to define the overall business systems plans and tactics which drive patient care management using Extensive experience in developing and supporting is essential.


  • Serve as project manager for the Patient Case Management System (Salesforce Service Cloud)
  • Provide system administration and implement system enhancements
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert for the IT applications that support Customer Care, Sales and Marketing operations
  • Work with business partners to identify and document business/user requirements
  • Work with business partners to document business processes and system specifications
  • Configure, Test and Support enhancements to our Salesforce platform
  • Monitor project milestones and communicate project progress to management
  • Work with business partners to define the SLA which will be met for system enhancements
  • Ensure that SLA for supported systems is met through collaboration with internal and external support organizations

Skills and Knowledge

  • Demonstrated successful track record of implementing and supporting systems which support Commercial Operations
  • Experience and comfort within the Salesforce technical environment including Apex triggers and Data Loader, Workflows, Email Templates, Validation & Sharing Rules, Roles, Profiles, dependent pick lists, Reports and Dashboards
  • End user training
  • Biotech or Pharmaceutical company experience desired
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Experience in developing and managing external business partner relationships
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining production IT solutions
  • Skilled in project and resource management
  • Skilled in business process mapping
  • Demonstrated verbal and written skills, End-User Training
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent people skills required
  • Able to manage multiple activities
  • Self-starter

Education Experience

  • Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience
