Aegerion Pharmaceuticals Inc. Hires Vice President of Business Development
Move is designed to continue building the pipeline and create strategic partnerships both in the US and overseas
Bridgewater, NJ (September 25, 2006) Aegerion Pharmaceuticals Inc. announced that Thomas G. Burger has joined the company as Vice President, Business Development. Mr. Burger brings over 20 years of Business Development in emerging growth companies and International Investment Banking (Mergers & Acquisitions). Most recently, Tom was Vice President, Business Development at Daiichi Pharmaceuticals and spent nearly 8 years as Head of Corporate Development at Genta, Inc. While at Genta, Tom closed the second largest single-product license & co-promotion transaction in the history of the pharmaceutical business with Aventis Pharmaceuticals in 2002.
